The Christ Church Jabalpur Diocesan High School ISC of today was first known as the St. Paul's Church Primary School established in 1920 by the Missionaries. The School even had a Hostel at that time. Two lady missionaries from Scotland worked to impart education to the children of the area and in 1944 when recognition was granted to the school by the Government, the Primary School was renamed as the Smyth High School after these two missionaries. Aim of the school

The school functions under the Board of Education, Church of North India, Jabalpur Diocese, Jabalpur and under the able guidance of the Most Rev. Dr. P. C. Singh, Moderator CNI Synod & Bishop of Jabalpur Diocese, Church of North India. The school aims at imparting all round development to every student with a high standard of academics as well as co-curricular activities.
